About Old Post Farms
Located at 247 St Marys Rd, Mountain Top, PA 18707, Old Post Farms operates as a greenhouse serving Mountain Top in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Mountain Top, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Pennsylvania, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (570) 814-8799. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 5.0 out of 5 on Google across 19 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded greenhouses & growers in Mountain Top.
Mountain Top is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Mountain Top follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I visit every year to get flowers for my home in PA and then bring another bunch back to NJ. They do well every season without fail. You're purchasing very sturdy plants from the farm. I look forward to visiting every year!
